County GR Collects $167,000 In March
Crawford County collected $167,106.77 for its general revenue fund in March, a 60.5 percent increase from last year, albeit with a lower rate.
Collection has soared to $704,524.99 through the first four months, which includes December 2018.
The county collected $1.258 million during 2018. The boosted sales tax puts general revenue on pace to smash that figure.
Last March, collection was $104,000 and just $85,398 in 2017.

January: $187,156.82, up from $110,953.24 in 2018
February: $138,678.40, up from $75,950.95 in 2018
March: $211,583, up from $111,212.99 in 2018
April: $167,106.77, up from $104,077.50 in 2018

The law enforcement and capital improvement taxes are the same rate, but go to separate funds.
The collections were down 6 percent from March 2018.
The county collected $78,962.73, which is a decrease from $84,084.51 last year.
In February, collection declined 10 percent from February 2018. It was up 6 percent compared to January 2018 and down 7 percent compared to December 2017.
