Bourbon Residents Invited To City Hall For Pine Street Update

Bourbon residents are invited to an update regarding the community development block grant for Pine Street construction Friday at 10 a.m. The update will be held at Bourbon City Hall.

The city of Bourbon applied for the $500,000 grant last year. If obtained, the grant would completely rebuild the infrastructure of Pine Street. A new road, base, pipes and guttering will be installed. The city has promised manpower and material. 

Bourbon formally applied for the grant last spring and the city was expected to hear the results over the summer, but it kept getting delayed. The city worked with the Meramec Regional Planning Commission on the grant application.
