Alexander Continues Probing City Over Dump Truck

Former city of Bourbon employee Curtis Alexander continued his questioning of issues in the city of Bourbon Tuesday when he addressed the city council for a third straight month.

In October, Alexander alleged Mayor Danny Skaggs physically threatened him. Alexander said he was at city hall, looking for information about the use of the city’s dump truck. Alexander did not appear at the October meeting, but he contended that no city employee had the proper endorsement to operate a truck with an air brake.

Alexander addressed the board about the issue in November. The city responded by saying no endorsement was needed if the truck was under 26,000 pounds.
