No Greater Love Than The Love Of God

Dear Editor:

The month of February, the time of the year when our hearts turn to love. A box of candy or maybe a dozen roses are given to our loved one.

No matter how much love we have for that special person in our lives, it pales in comparison to the love that Jesus has for us. Can we even begin to imagine the love of Jesus, the love that led Him to the cross of Calvary where He gave His life for our sins?

Jesus is God. He didn’t have to go to the cross. He didn’t have to die. Yet, He went to the cross so that we could be redeemed by His blood. He paid the price for our sins. Can we even begin to imagine the great love that Jesus has for us? What greater gift can we receive than to be forgiven?

There is no greater love than the love of Jesus. He has made it possible for us to become a part of His kingdom and to dwell in heaven with him for all of eternity. 

The love of Jesus. Love imaginable.
