Franklin County reported 16 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, raising the total to 1,195.

Franklin County surpassed 1,100 COVID-19 cases on Friday after reporting 38 people have tested positive.

This raises the total to 1,071.
Seven residents in long-term care facilities are infected.

Franklin County had 529 COVID-19 cases and four deaths in August.
The county saw it’s COVID-19 total double. There were 509 cases on Aug. 1 and the month ended with 1,038.
