Sullivan Plant Closes After Employee Allegedly Tests Positive For COVID-19

The Sullivan Independent News has received information that an employee at Sullivan Precision Metal Finishing, 995 North Service Road West, has allegedly tested positive for Covid-19.

The source indicated that exposure to other employees is likely low and that the plant has closed through Monday out of an abundance of caution. The source added that the company is taking all cautionary measures.

Calls to the facility were attempted but due to closure, no one was available for comment. As of Wednesday at 2 p.m. the plant did appear closed.
