Crawford County’s general revenue sales tax continues to climb upwards.
The county brought in $218,544.72 to begin 2022. That’s up 21% year-over-year.
Crawford County commissioners passed the 2022 budget on Jan. 25 — a balanced budget that Clerk John Martin says maintains “complete solvency.”
City of Bourbon voters will decide on whether the city should implement a use tax.
The use tax will go on the April ballot.
It’s been more than two months since the Bourbon Fire Protection District placed a stop work order on the former Proctor building old Old Highway 66.
