Sullivan Woman Charged With Vehicle Tampering

A Sullivan woman is charged with tampering with her boyfriend’s vehicle.

Hope Lambert, 21, faces one count of tampering with a motor vehicle. Lambert is being held on a $4,500 bond.

The probable cause statement alleges that on January 19, the owner of the vehicle reported Lambert had stolen it overnight. The owner said he wanted the car back and did not wish to pursue charges.

The vehicle was located off a ravine at Birds Nest River Access and towed away. The owner then decided to file charges.
