District Faces Criticism Over Mask Policy

The Crawford County R-1 School Board defended its mask policy Thursday as it came under criticism.
A group of anti-mask attendees filled the conference room, some holding signs decrying mask mandates and others pledging their support to staff member Nicole Butyenek.
Butyenek was reportedly sent home on Wednesday, Aug. 26, for not adhering to the policy.
