DHSS: County’s COVID-19 Cases Rise To 695

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services said there have been 695 cases of COVID-19 in Crawford County.

The data is current as of Thursday, Oct. 29. COVID-19 data in Missouri is on a three-day delay. DHSS said this provides more accurate information.

Over the past seven days, the county has reported 72 cases.

The overall positivity rate is 13.85%, which ranks 44th in Missouri.

DHSS said that over the last seven days, the positivity rate is 34.29% 59th in the state.

Crawford County’s numbers reflect the continued upward trend of COVID-19 in Missouri.

There were 14,400 new cases reported over the last seven days, along with 82 deaths.

This brings Missouri’s total to 185,535. The state has 3,030 cases per 100,000 people, which is 23rd in the United States.

There have been 3,026 deaths.

DHSS said Missouri is averaging 2,057 cases and 12 deaths over the last seven days.

The state positivity rate in the last week is 14%.

COVID-19 hospitalizations have risen to 1,649. 

DHSS said the state’s total hospital bed capacity remaining is 41%.

There are 494 COVID-19 patients in intensive care units (ICU) and remaining capacity is 31%.

Reports show 214 patients are on ventilators and remaining capacity is 67%.

Franklin County has reported 2,941 cases, according to DHSS. In the last seven days, 299 cases have been reported.

Washington County is up to 728 cases. There have been 68 new infections over the last seven days.

Iron County has 115 cases and 16 new cases in the previous seven days.

Dent County is reporting 276 cases and only 29 new ones in the last week.

Phelps County has risen to 932 cases, with 103 in the last week.

Gasconade County has totaled 289 cases. New cases have slowed to 39 over the last seven days.
