Cases Continue To Plummet In Crawford County

COVID-19 cases in Crawford County are plummeting, dropping to just 15 between Feb. 5-11.

No new cases were reported on Feb. 6-7 and just one new case was reported Feb. 5.

The county had 29 cases the previous seven days.

According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, the seven-day positivity rate from Feb. 5-11 was 6.8%.

That ranks 58th in the state.

Crawford County is 47th in Missouri in new PCR tests during this period.

There have been 2,028 cases confirmed and 29 deaths.

State

Missouri reported 4,599 cases from Feb. 5-11, a daily average of 657.

The total is 471,241.

Missouri has reported 7,455 deaths.

The state’s seven-day positivity rate is 6.8%

Hospitalizations

Hospitalizations are dropping.

As of Feb. 11, there were 1,438 people hospitalized with COVID-19.

Of those, 305 are in ICU, where bed capacity is at 24%.

In the St. Louis region, there were 701 people hospitalized and 150 people in ICU.

ICU bed capacity is at 18%.
