Absentee Ballot Submittal Deadline Is Election Day
Absentee ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3 to be counted.
The deadline to request an absentee or mail-in ballot for the election was Oct. 21.
Ballots may be requested in person up until Monday, Nov. 2.
Absentee ballots may be turned in by mail or in person.
Mail-in ballots must be mailed back through the United States Postal Service and cannot be turned in in-person.
The ballot must be returned to the election authority for its receipt by Election Day at 7 p.m.
If you have received a mail-in ballot, it must be notarized.
Voters may receive an absentee ballot without a notary if they are incapacitated or confined due to illness or have contracted COVID-19.
Voters who are at-risk due to being 65 or older, living in a long-term care facility, have chronic lung disease, have a serious heart condition, are immunocompromised, are diabetic, have kidney disease and receiving dialysis or have liver disease may vote without a notary.
Absentee voters must have a notary due to religious beliefs or practices, working the election, are in a confidentiality program or will be absent on Election Day.
