Players come and go, teams shuffle in and out and yet the one thing that remains constant about the FCNB Bank-It Tournament is that Sullivan will wind up in the finals.
Sullivan used an extended first half run to overcome a slow start and knock off St. Clair on Tuesday in the first round of the FCNB Bank-It Tournament.
Rolla fended off a late charge by Sullivan to secure a 34-28 victory, spoiling the Lady Eagles’ season opener on November 26.
Sullivan's boys and girls basketball teams won tournament championships Friday.
Sullivan senior Addison Purvis and Lady Eagles head coach Ashley Crump received the top honors in the Missourian All-Area softball voting.
