As the final matches began Saturday at the Class 2 District 2 tournament, the championship never seemed in doubt for Sullivan.

Facing Hermann on Tuesday in their Four Rivers Conference opener, Sullivan had another stellar night from long-range.
A win is a win.
And as the Eagles march towards the district tournament, every win counts.
Sullivan’s wrestling team will attempt to build on last season’s milestones when they host the Class 2 District 2 Tournament on their home mat this Saturday.
Sullivan trailed by 13 midway through the fourth quarter of their Four Rivers Conference opener against Hermann, but they didn’t go quietly.
