Youth Bowlers Wrap Up Seasons On Top

Local youth bowlers capped off their seasons with conference and state tournament action. 

Four Rivers Youth Championship

Eli Evans and Evan Embry, Benjamin Radosh and Jacob Shelton bowled singles and doubles in the Four Rivers USBC Youth Championship at Thunder Alley.

Radosh and Shelton landed first in doubles, while Evans and Embry finished third.

Evans was the runner-up in singles, Embry ranked fourth, Shelton placed eighth and Radosh took thirteenth. 

Evans finished third in all his events, Shelton was fourth, Embry was fifth and Radosh was eleventh.

Missouri State Youth Championship

Fourteen bowlers from Eagle Lanes and Fun Zone bowled in the Missouri State Youth Championship from May 3-4 at Crestwood Bowl. 

In the tournament, participants earned a medal for bowling at least 50 pins over their averages. 

These youth attained those scores to earn medals: Jacoby Kinder, Cahutta Kinder (2), Evan Embry, Eli Evans (2), Brockton Fite (2) and Jase Ayers. 

Cahutta, with a 36 average, bowled an outstanding 126 game during team competition on Sunday, May 4. Congratulations to these bowlers!
