Young Guns Shine, Seniors Say Goodbye At Home
Sullivan’s track and field teams hosted a 9/10 invitational on Thursday, Apr. 24. Their underclassmen shined, with both the boys and girls receiving second-place hardware.
Fifteen graduating athletes also had the chance to say goodbye to their fans for Senior Night. Head Coach Terry Wood thanked his seniors for leaving a footprint on the program. “I am hopeful they realize their leadership is a powerful force for good,” he stated. “Both of us, Zack and I, strive to be equitable and positive leaders for them to model. And we ask the same from our seniors.”
Sullivan High School recognized eight senior boys: Mikeldon Taylor-Gray, Jayson Summers, Robert York II, Zechariah Beagle, Russell Politte, Aidan Hutchison, William Hunter and Tucker Fruewirth.
They also shouted out seven graduating girls: Cirstin Lucas, Madison Prater, Paighton Witt, Katie Summers, Trinity Midyett, Daveah McClain and Ruby Daily.
