XC Country Finishes Strong At Owensville

Cross country competed in Owensville on Tuesday, Oct. 10 for their last tournament before the conference meet.

Girls

Freshman Mariah Denney ranked at the top of her division with a time of 19:37.39.

Senior Breanna Mayberry finished in 19th place with 13 points at 24:08.40 and freshman Eden Lambert (14) followed her at 20th with a time of 24:08.62.

Senior Jade Studdard (18) placed 26th at 25:36.75, senior Maria Schatzl (34) secured 47th place at 29:16.07, senior Peyton Evans (40) claimed 54th at 33:24.07 and senior Alexandra McLain-Williams (42) rounded out the list at 56th place with a time of 35:12.62.

Sullivan placed 4th with 80 points out of 7 teams. There were a total of 56 runners.

Boys

Junior Abram Denney finished 1st with a time of 1.

Freshman Ayden Duncan ran in 25th place with a time of 20:25.59 and 21 points, senior Ian Studdard (24) secured 29th place at 20:36.38, freshman Sam Sammington (38) claimed 45th at 22:14.87, sophomore Nolan Studdard (39) finished 47th at 22:41.09 and senior Parker Whaley (40) placed 48th with a time of 22:41.36.

Sullivan finished 6th out of 8 teams with 123 points. There were a total of 63 participants.

Upcoming Events

Cross country traveled to Owensville for the Four Rivers Conference meet on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 2:30 p.m. Stats were not available at press time.
