Boys wrestling fell short to Washington, losing 36-34 in their first meet of the season on Wednesday, Dec. 6.

Camden Henderson claimed a 3-point victory over Ethan James with a 5-4 decision in the 113 weight class.

120-class wrestler Carter Blankenship swiftly defeated Landyn Rable in just 1:39 for 6 points.

In the 126 class, Couper Deckard pinned down Oliver Borton in 3:03 by a technical fall.

Girls

In girls wrestling, Sullivan beat Washington 36-30. Each winner for Sullivan contributed six points to the team.

Karen Dietzler won by forfeit in the 110 weight class.

Mariah Denney swiftly defeated Abbie Weber in 31 seconds in the 125 class.

In a lengthy 6-minute match, Jade Studdard overcame Brianna James in the 135 class.
