Willman Places Fifth At Paul Enke Invitational

The Sullivan Eagles cross country had a fantastic showing on Saturday at Sioux Passage Park in St. Louis at the 2022 Paul Enke Invitational. The event was hosted by Hazelwood Central. Emily Willman had a fifth place finish for the girls and Aiden Kirk secured a 24th place finish on a tough course.

Willman finished in fifth place with a time of 21:36. Breanna Mayberry finished 68th with a time of 26:10. Maria Schatzl claimed 78th with a time of 30:46. Jade Studdard took 108th with a time of 34:31. Isabel Peterson followed in 115th with a time of 35:20. Olivia Huitt finished in 122nd with a time of 31:31.

Parkway West won the event with 56 points. Kirkwood followed with 61 points. Francis Howell got third with 82 points. Fort Zumwalt North took fourth with 123 points. Eureka rounded out the top five with 135 points.

Boys

Sullivan finished in 13th place with 356 points. Their best runner was Kirk who claimed 24th place with a time of 18:43. He was followed by Abram Denney in 38th with a time of 19:27. Aidan Lawrence took 106th with a time of 22:18. Ian Studdard followed in 118th with a time of 23:31. Nolan Studdard had a time of 25:27 and finished in 128th. Charles Saul landed in 143rd with a time of 25:49. Parker Whaley finished in 136th with a time of 27:34.

St. Louis University won the event with 30 points. Kirkwood followed with 70 points. Parkway South got third with 102 points. DeSmet Jesuit took fourth with 106 points. Fort Zumwalt North finished out the top five with 170 points.

Cross country will continue their season on Saturday at the Gans Creek Classic.
