Willman, Kirk Take Second At Hermann

Emily Willman medaled with a second place finish for the second straight week while notching two big achievements.

She recorded her personal best and broke a school record with a time of 19:34.14 at the Hermann Invitational.

Aiden Kirk was the top boys finisher with a second place medal.

Breanna Mayberry medaled in 19th with a time of 22:13.37.

Jade Studdard had a time of 27:18.49 and took 46th.

She was immediately followed by Maria Schatzl with a time of 27:56.44. Isabel Peterson claimed 54th with a time of 30:13.61.

Olivia Huitt finished in 57th with a time of 31:51.32.

Katy Menke of Hermann won the girls championship with a time of 19:14.49.

Union won the team championship with 60 points.

Hermann followed with 62 points.

Pacific claimed third with 73 points.

Owensville got fourth with 74 points.

Washington took sixth with 106 points.

Sullivan followed with 140 points. Wellsville-Middletown finished in seventh with 167 points.

Boys

Sullivan rounded out the top five in team scores with 85.

Kirk medaled in second place with a time of 17:12.61.

Abram Denney medaled in fifth place with a time of 17:15.94.

Ian Studdard finished 34th with a time of 21:00.06.

Nolan Studdard got 38th with a time of 22:34.27.

Parker Whaley followed with a time of 24:19.60.

Charles Saul and Javier Contreras raced in the JV.

Saul medaled in 11th with a time of 21:24.13. Contreras placed in 29th with a time of 24:57.42.

Bryson Pickard of Union won the championship of 16:39.22.

Owensville won the team championship with 57 points.

Pacific followed with 62 points. Elsberry took third with 64 points.

Union finished in fourth with 69 points.
