Willman Finishes Fourth, Kirk Sixth At Sullivan Meet

Emily Willman finished fourth Tuesday at the Sullivan Invitational and Aiden Kirk finished sixth in the boys race.

Washington won first among the five teams competing in the girls division. Fox led the way in the five-team boys field.

Girls

The top four runners were separated by seconds.

Washington senior Mia Reed came in first at 20:32.30.

St. Pius X senior Rita Eimer took second in 20:43.31.

Union sophomore Anna Brakefield finished third in 20:46.15.

Willman’s time was 20:58.06. 

Washington’s Julia Donnelly, Union’s Ella Coppinger, Washington’s McKenna Jacquin and Jessica Donnelly, Union’s Kelsey Brake and Washington’s Lillian Nix rounded out the top 10.

Sullivan’s next highest finisher was Loren Halmick, who came in 19th with a time of 24:57.43.

Michelle Gossett finished 21st in 25:16.38.

Adia Halmick took 32nd in 27:25.23.

Kayleigh Willman finished 35th in 28:05.18.

Tracy Cotter took 36th in 28:05.38.

Maria Schatzl was 39th in 28:30.56.

Eva Heady took 42nd in 29:43.34.

Breanna Mayberry finished 43rd in 29:48.97.

Maddie Joslin came in 47th in 30:56.72.

Washington had 31 points to take first. Union came in second, St. Pius X third and Sullivan fourth. Fox finished fifth.

Boys

Kirk had a time of 19:26.82 to lead Sullivan’s boys.

Robert Morefield was 28th in 24:00.12.

Walker Hardy took 36th in 25:56.12.

George Bonney finished 38th in 26:27.25.

Ayden Treece came in 39th in 26:28.56.

Ian Studdard was 46th in 28:26.40.

Unoin’s Gabriel Hoekel took first overall with a time of 17:54.74.

Fox’s Sam Shipp, Union’s Dominic Beine, Fox’s Jason Shaw and teammate Alex Martin were in the top five.

Following Kirk were Fox’s Caleb Fletcher, Washington’s Ethan Bliss, Union’s Hayden Monroe and Fox’s Grant McMillin.

Fox came in first with 28 points. Union took second, Washington third and Bourbon fourth.
