Volleyball Takes The Loss Against Waynesville

In an exciting and clIn an exciting and closely contested four-set match, Waynesville defeated the Lady Eagles. Sullivan secured a tight win in the first set, prevailing 25-23. However, Waynesville then swept Sullivan in the following sets with scores of 33-31, 28-26 and 25-18.

Ava Blankenship led the team with 38 attacks and 16 kills. Raegan Johnson scored the most points with 11. Stevi Saling, Emily Clonts and Abby Record had a team-high of 4 aces each. Ava Todd had the highest number of assists with 20.

Delaney George contributed 10 points, 3 aces, 2 attacks and a kill. Allie Brune and Kelsie Hansel recorded seven attacks each. Karlee Head had 4 attacks and a kill, while defensive specialist Aleah Hunter served four times.
