Sullivan Triumphs Over St. Charles West/Moberly
Boys wrestling dominated St. Charles West with a 66-12 victory and edged past Moberly with a 39-33 win on Friday, Dec. 8. Each Sullivan wrestler who made a win for their team earned 6 points.
Camden Henderson, competing at 113, claimed a victory in his first match by forfeit and then pinned down Kaiden Leonard in 3:14.
Carter Blankenship received forfeits in both of his matches in the 120 class.
Oliver Borton picked up his first victory due to a forfeit in the 126 class against St. Charles but was shut down in 45 seconds by Tyler James of Moberly.
In the 132 class, Conner Roach swiftly took down Luke Wahoff in 21 seconds and then swept Edmond Roberts in just 1:33.
Eli Peregoy dominated the 138 class with two pindowns over Keegan Maness and Carson Roark in just under two minutes.
Competing at 144, Dominic Ransom won his first match by forfeit but fell to Moberly’s Landon Morris in a 7-4 decision.
