Sullivan Post 18 Struggles Against Washington

Sullivan Post 18 struggled on Tuesday against Washington Post 218, falling 12-1.

Lucas Parsons pitched four innings and gave up seven hits and four runs.

He recorded three strikeouts.

Cambrian Koch gave up six runs on three hits and he struck out one.

Isaiah Skaggs pitched an inning and gave up two runs and one hit.

Sullivan scored in the bottom of the first. Seth Valley singled on a line drive to left. He stole second before an out was recorded.

Koch hit a successful sacrifice ground out that scored Valley.

In the bottom of the second, Beau Beckett smacked a double, but he was left stranded.

Washington got on the scoreboard with four runs in the third. Post 218 scored six in the sixth inning and two more in the seventh to run away with the victory.

Sullivan scattered hits throughout the rest of the game but couldn’t bring home another run.

Post 18 had seven hits, but the difference maker was Post 18 committing six errors compared to only one by Washington.

Dayton Skaggs and Valley each had multiple hits. Beckett, Isaiah Skaggs  and Grant Halmick each had a hit on the day too.
