Sullivan Post 18 Falls To Washington Legion
Washington’s pitching was the savior in the game on Wednesday, Trentmann struckout six Sullivan batters with the six innings he pitched. He only gave up one hit in the first inning and that was to Dayton Skaggs. Sullivan fell, 5-0.
Washington’s Jasper came in for the last inning and struck out two batters.
Brennan Bouse reached bases twice on errors made by Washington.
Skaggs, Gavin Schmidt, and Seth Valley each reached bases on walks.
Lucas Parsons was the losing pitcher and he pitched four innings with three strikeouts. He gave up only two runs on five hits.
Schmidt came in for relief on the mound and gave up three runs on four hits. He struck out three Washington batters.
Trentmann also went 2-3 and Hendrickson of Washington was 2-2.
Post 18 looks to avenge their loss on Saturday against Elsberry Red.
