Sullivan Fall Sports Practices Begin Next Monday

Fall sports programs open across the state on Monday, August 7, as teams begin preparing for the 2023 season.

Softball championships are scheduled for October 26-28; volleyball championships will be held November 2-4; boys’ soccer on November 17-18; football between November 30 - December 2 and cross country on November 3-4

Classification and district assignments for football, boys’ soccer, softball and volleyball have not yet been released. MSHSAA physical exams are valid for two years (730 days), so if a physical is on file for the 2022-2023 year, it will be good for 2023-2024.

The Lady Eagles’ softball team will start their regular season at the Peoples Bank Back to School Classic on August 25-26. Volleyball will begin on August 29 at Blair Oaks. Football kicks off on August 25 at Northwest (Cedar Hill). Boys’ soccer opens the season on August 25 at the Lebanon Tournament against Lebanon. Cross country will start their run on August 29 at the Fleet Feet XC Classic in Arnold City Park.
