Sullivan Claims Second Place At Rolla

The Lady Eagles had an exciting weekend in volleyball. Sullivan traveled to Rolla to compete in seven games in one day. They defeated Summersville in two sets. Sullivan fell to Washington in two sets. They defeated Helias in two sets, but tied with Potosi. The Lady Eagles won against St. Charles and Washington in three sets. Sullivan fell to Potosi in the championship match in two sets.

Summersville

Sullivan won their first game of the day. They collapsed Summersville in both sets, 25-21 and 25-17.

Emma Brune had the most kills with five. Ava Blankenship followed with three. Olivia Witt notched two kills, two aces, and eight points. Raegan Johnson and Ali Blue each recorded a kill. Anna Brooks tallied two aces.

Maci Nolie led in assists with 11. She also made three kills.

Washington (Game One)

The Lady Eagles faced Washington twice in the day. Washington was victorious in both sets, 34-32 and 25-22.

Blankenship led in kills with six. Witt made three kills, five aces, and five points. Saling secured three kills. Brune tallied three kills, one ace, and two points. Nolie notched two kills, one ace, and three points. Johnshon had one kill, assist, and ace.

Helias

Sullivan defeated Helias in two sets, 28-28 and 25-22.

Potosi (Game One)

Sullivan played Potosi twice in the day. Sullivan tied with Potosi the first game. Potosi won the first set, 25-17. Sullivan defeated Potosi in the second set, 25-21.

The Lady Eagles played St. Charles in three sets. They won the first, 25-23. St. Charles squeezed by in the second set, 25-22. Sullivan came away with the victory in the final set, 25-19.

Washington (Game Two)

Washington won the first set, 25-22. The Lady Eagles defeated the Lady Blue Jays the next two sets, 25-20 and 25-16.

Sullivan fell in both sets in the championship game, 25-18 and 25-12.
