Softball Kicks Off At Home Tourney

The Lady Eagles will return to the plate at the Peoples Bank Back to School Classic. The home tournament will occur Aug. 30-31 at the Campbell Chapman Sports Complex. All Sullivan matches will be on field one and start in Pool A.
Sullivan’s season opener is Friday, Aug. 30, at 10 a.m. against Webster Groves. They will then face Blair Oaks at 11:45 a.m. and Linn at 3:15 p.m.
Pool B contains Capital City, Father Tolton, Liberty-Wentzville and Pacific.
Pool C has Fatima, Mexico, Northwest and Washington.
Each team will play two round-robin matches on Saturday. The time slots are 10 a.m., 11:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The games will have a time limit of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
