Sixth Annual Peoples Bank Back To School Classic Begins Friday

Sixteen teams will compete and take the field this Friday at Campbell-Chapman Sports Complex at the sixth annual Peoples Bank Back to School Classic.

The tournament features teams from all across the state, including some of the best in each of their classes.

The defending Class 3 state champion Lady Eagles will be in Pool D with Linn, Webster Groves, and Osage.

They will play back-to-back games against Linn and Webster Groves on Friday morning.

The first game begins at 10 a.m. on Field 1 against Linn.

Game 2 begins at 11:45 a.m. against Webster Groves.

Sullivan will finish up their pool play at 3:15 p.m. against Osage.

The Pool D winner meets the Pool A winner on Saturday at 10:45 a.m. in the semifinal on Field 1.

Pools

Pool A features Capital City, Jackson, Owensville, and Windsor.

Pool B includes Bolivar, Eldon, Eureka, and Hillsboro.

Pool C contains Desoto, Logan-Rogersville, Northwest, and Pacific.

Championship

The Pool A and Pool D winners meet on Field 1 at 10:45 a.m.

The championship will be held at 2:15 p.m. and third place at 2:15 p.m. as well. The championship game being at Field 1 and the third place game is on Field 2.

Second place winners from each pool play at 9 a.m. The seventh place game is on Field 2 at 12:30 p.m. and the fifth place game is on Field 1 at 12:30 p.m. as well.

Third place pool winners play at 9:15 a.m. on Fields 3 and 4.

The 11th place game will be at 12:45 p.m. on Field 4 and the 9th place game will be at 12:45 p.m. on Field 3.

Fourth place pool winners play 11 a.m. on Fields 3 and 4.

The 15th place game is on Field 4 and 13th place on Field 3. Both games begin at 2:30 p.m.
