SHS Hosting Boys Wrestling Districts

Sullivan High School will host the Class 2 District 1 boys’ wrestling tournament on Feb. 16–17.

The attending teams are Affton, Central Park Hills, Dexter, Herculaneum, Jennings, John Burroughs, Kennett, Kipp, Normandy Collaborative, Owensville, Potosi, St. Clair, St. James, Ste. Genevieve, Sullivan and University City.

Admission is $6 for students and adults per session. Doors will open to spectators one hour before its start.

On Friday, Feb. 16, the first round will be at 5:30 p.m., and the opening round for wrestlebacks and quarterfinals will be at 7 p.m.

Then, the following day, the second round of wrestlebacks will be at 10 a.m., the semifinals and third wrestlebacks at 11:30 a.m., and the consolation semifinals at 3 p.m. The first and third-place matchups will be at 4:30 p.m. There will be a parade of state qualifiers before this.
