Schatzl, Lady Eagles Blank St. James

Fired up from a comeback over St. James earlier in the week, Sullivan handled St. James 2-0 on Thursday.

Sullivan limited their Four Rivers Conference opponent to just two shots on goal and Maria Schatzl rejected both attempts.

Schatzl has allowed just two goals in the last four games.

Unbeaten in those games, the Lady Eagles have came together and began working as a team.

Dorie Richardson got Sullivan on the board five minutes into the game with her goal.

The Lady Eagles led 1-0 at the half.

Abby Wiegers gave Sullivan some insurance with a goal in the second half, assisted by Anna Brooks.

Sullivan traveled to Union on Tuesday. Their games against Valley Park and Crocker have been canceled.
