Purvis And Dudley Place Fifth At Hillsboro
Sullivan’s golf team continued their season at the Mideast Invitational at Raintree Country Club in Hillsboro on Monday. The Eagles picked up from where they left off last season and are motivated for this season.
Easton Purvis and Carsen Dudley finished in fifth place out of 14 teams with a score of 90 in the best ball tournament. Also Matt Mallory and Max Avery shot a scramble score of 109.
The Eagles as a team finished in 13th with 559 points.
Hillsboro won the team championship with 350.
Seckman followed with 360.
Potosi got third with 374 and Windsor (Imperial) followed with 376.
Farmington rounded out the top five teams with 386.
Purvis tied in 18th place with a 29 over par and a 101.
Dudley finished in 34th with a 36 over par and a 108.
Jack Prince of Hillsboro was the champion of the 18 hole course with a 15 over par and a 87.
Ryan Hogan of Windsor (Imperial) followed with a 88 and 16 over par.
Seckman’s Collin Ammel and De Soto’s James Hankens tied for third with a 91.
Hillsboro’s Robbi Grubbs followed with a 92 and Will Becker of St. Pius X rounded out the top five with a 94.
Seckman won the scramble with a score of 84 and the best ball with an 82.
