Lady Eagles Win Last Two Regular Season Games

The Sullivan Lady Eagles soccer team continued to steam roll opponents this week. The girls shut out the last two teams of the season. The defense has been superb all season and they shut down the last home game and their last regular away game. The Lady Eagles surged past Dixon on Monday, 4-0. They continued the momentum the next day on the road and defeated DeSoto, 5-0.

Dixon

The Lady Eagles stormed right out in the first half. Sullivan drilled all four goals in the first half. Sullivan’s defense contained Dixon in the second half and didn’t allow them to score once. The Lady Eagles flew over Dixon, 4-0.

Cambria Pohlman shot the ball the most with five. She also scored a goal and an assist.

Jada Adams shot the ball three times and scored two goals.

Emma Brune picked up a goal, shot and assist.

Emily Willman secured a shot and a goal.

Dorie Richardson finished with an assist.

Maria Schatzl and Karen Dietzler each played twenty minutes. Schatzl was awarded the win.

DeSoto

Sullivan continued their motivation the next day. The Lady Eagles traveled to DeSoto to face the Lady Dragons for their last game of the regular season. The girls secured three goals in the first half and tallied two more in the second half. Sullivan slayed the Lady Dragons, 5-0.

Pohlman claimed one goal and shot the ball twice. She also secured an assist.

Willman also shot the ball twice.

Brune secured a goal, shot and assist again.

Tessa Newman, Kara Schmidt and Molly Lohden got a goal and an assist.

Shelby Giebler finished with a shot and an assist.
