Lady Eagles Volleyball Defeated By Blair Oaks Falcons In Three Sets

Sullivan couldn’t overcome Blair Oaks on Tuesday, Aug. 29, and fell in three sets: 25-14, 25-14 and 25-19.

The last time the Lady Eagles and Falcons faced off in the regular season was on Oct. 2, 2021, when Blair Oaks won in two sets.

Sullivan was coming off a 2-3 tournament record at the Windsor Classic and hoped to regain some confidence against Blair Oaks. They were still adapting to their changed roster and the departure of seven graduating seniors.

Outside hitter Emily Clonts led the team with 22 attacks, 7 points and 2 aces.

Senior outside hitter/middle blocker Stevi Sailing contributed with 15 attacks, 4 kills and 4 points.

Middle blocker Ava Blankenship had the highest number of kills at 8 and blocks at 2.

Setter Raegan Johnson made 14 attacks, 4 kills and 8 assists.

Setter Ava Todd led the team with 20 assists.

Lastly, middle blocker/outside hitter Abby Record managed 13 attacks, 3 points and an ace.
