Lady Eagles Sweep Owensville In Semifinals
Sullivan volleyball is on a roll. The Lady Eagles have been steamrolling their opponents, winning four games in a row. Three out of four games they've swept their opponents. They’ve been a dominant force all season and played in the district championship on Monday, October 24. Results of Monday’s game were not available at press time.
However, Sullivan swept the Dutchgirls in all three sets of the semifinals, 25-15, 25-13, and 25-12.
Emma Brune put on another stellar performance and led the team in kills with 12. She also tallied three points. Ava Blankenship followed in kills with eight. Olivia Witt got seven kills, one assist, three aces, and 15 points. Stevi Saling secured five kills. Raegan Johnson tallied five points. Emily Clonts claimed eight points and three aces. Anna Brooks got seven points, an ace, and an assist. Shelby Giebler made six points and two aces. Carley Godfrey finished with a point.
Maci Nolie led in assists with 26. She also notched two aces and five points.
