Lady Eagles Split Games Early In Week

The Sullivan Lady Eagles played two games last week, falling to Pacific 8-0 and rebounding against Laquey 3-1.

Pacific

Sullivan fell at Pacific on Monday, 8-0.

Pacific gained the lead in the first half they scored two goals.

The Lady Indians secured the win with six more unanswered goals in the second half of the game.

Maria Schatzl was the goal keeper for Sullivan and played all 72 minutes of the game. She stopped the ball 17 times but gave up 8 goals.

Laquey

The next game Sullivan used the loss as motivation to win against Laquey at home. The wind played a factor at first but the Lady Eagles overcame the obstacle in the second half to secure the win.

The comeback started when Emma Brune landed a goal to tie up the game with around 12 minutes left to play. The Lady Eagles continued with the second half motivation when Jada Adams scored on a free kick with around 10 minutes left.

Sullivan put away Laquey when Abby Wiegers sailed one to the back of the net.

Molly Lohden had an assist.

Brune, Jada Adams, and Wiegers each had two points on the game.
