Lady Eagles Begin Season At Jamboree

The Lady Eagles started their new soccer season in great fashion last Tuesday. Sullivan came in motivated from last season and their veterans took action right away. The Lady Eagles are ready to soar under Head Coach Matt Wiegers. Sullivan played two games at the jamboree and were victorious in both. The Lady Eagles defense shut out their opponents.

Sullivan defeated the St. James Lady Tigers, 2-0. Cambria Pohlman scored the first goal with eight minutes left. Molly Lohden secured the win for Sullivan with the last goal.

The Lady Eagles shutout Belle in their last game at the jamboree, 8-0. Lohden scored the first two goals of the game and Hayli Venable picked up the third one with Lohden’s assist. Pohlman scored the fourth goal and Tessa Newman scored the next goal. Addison Wagner gave Sullivan the six point advantage over Belle. Emma Brune connected on a goal and Lohden landed the last goal for Sullivan for an exceptional showing at the jamboree.
