JV Track And Field Makes Waves At Conference Meet

The JV Track and Field team had a big day at the Four Rivers Conference tournament in Hermann on Monday, Apr. 29.

The boys were the Four Rivers runner-ups, finishing second with 116 points, while the girls landed fourth after racking up 70 points.

Medalists

Abigail Erfurth was the discus conference champion with a throw of 24.88 meters and rose to first place in the shot put event at 7.88 meters.

Reed Newbanks, Carter Rochleau, Brennan Koepke and Elijah Pritchett clinched the top spot in the 4x100-meter relay at 48.43 seconds.

Then, for the 4x400-meter relay, Ayden Duncan, Pritchett, Zaiden Marler and Nolan Studdard finished first at 4:15.27.

Koepke placed second in the long jump with a distance of 5.25 meters.

Marler landed second in the pole vault competition at 2.75 meters.

Newbanks marked a season-best 25.18 seconds in his second-place finish in the 200-meter dash.

Duncan ranked 2nd in the 1600-meter run after setting a season-best of 5:25.14.

Thomas Tod reached 2nd in the 110-meter hurdles contest with 21.61 seconds.

Gracie Edmonston reached a season-best time of 6:37.48 in her second-place finish in the 1600-meter run.

Cali Koppelmann-Blue was the runner-up in the javelin contest at 22.43 meters.

Tod took 3rd in the 300-meter hurdle event, inking a season-best 55.25 seconds.

Marler landed third in the triple jump at 10.13 meters.

Then, in the 4x200-meter relay, Sullivan’s squad, consisting of Newbanks, Pritchett, Marler and Maximus Horn, placed third at 1:45.49.

Jessica Redd medaled at third and inked a season-best 1:15.18 in the 400-meter dash.

Katelyne Carpenter placed third in the triple jump at 8.2 meters.

Brennan Koepke took 3rd in the 100-meter dash at 12.5 seconds.
