JV Boys Basketball Slips Against Lions

The JV boys’ basketball team fell 48-35 to Northwest (Cedar Hill) on Friday, Jan. 5. Sullivan managed to keep the game neck-in-neck until the fourth quarter.

Landen Doza and Nolan Ulrich laid it into the basket to tie it 4-4 at the start of the first period. Doza struck again with a three-pointer and a score on a fast break to keep Sullivan in the game.

He continued his dominance in the second quarter by executing two layups to tie it 13-13. The Eagles then soared ahead of the Lions with a 16-13 lead when Mitchell Garner grabbed a free throw and Mikeldon Taylor-Gray swooshed in two. Raiden Redd brought in two scores to put Sullivan ahead by four points to cap off the first half.
