JV Boys Basketball Battles Borgia

The junior varsity boys fell 51-29 to the Knights in their duel on Saturday, Jan. 11. They faced the host Borgia in the opening round of their tournament.

The Eagles executed 10-29 of their attempts from the field and 5-10 from the free-throw line. Sullivan left it all on the court with 14 rebounds, six assists, four steals and two blocks.

Jared Toews sank a team-high 10 points while delivering 3-5 of his field shots and 2-2 of his free throws. He hit the glass for three rebounds and dropped a dime.

Andrew Blankenship stuffed the most shots with two blocks. He also broke away with three rebounds, two steals and two assists.

Raiden Redd racked up 9 points, three rebounds, two assists and a steal.

Chase Black hit a shot from downtown and collected two rebounds, a steal, and an assist. 

Spencer Thomure swished in 7 points and hauled in a rebound. 

Cameron York and Hayden Oldham fired two attempts at the net and snagged a board.
