Golfers Take Fourth At Sulivan Invitational
Sullivan’s golf team hosted seven other schools on Friday as part of the Sullivan Invitational.
The players played in a doubles tournament, except for Jackson Poelman of Hermann.
Borgia won the team championship with a score of 227 and were followed by St. James with 230.
Union took third with 232. The Eagles finished in fourth as a team and shot a 243, followed by Pacific with 254.
St. Clair scored 259 in sixth, followed by Owensville with 275.
Hermann finished eighth with a score of 283.
Each team had three teams of two players and the winners were Will Warden and Alex Weber of Borgia who shot a 71.
Trig Lindahl and Allyson Hollrath of Hermann shot a 72.
Wilson McDaniel and Jake Wilson of St. James shot a 72.
Union’s Garret Klenke and Dalton Adkins shot a 75.
Pacific’s Conner Bartel and Beau Anderson finished with a 78.
The next highest scoring double was Kaleb White and Luc Schuler who shot an 80.
Logan Watters and Blaine Sappington finished with a score of 81, followed by Charlie Lohden and Luke Todd with an 82.
Schuler and White got pars on holes 1,2,7, and 14 to help secure the team top spot.
Owensville’s top players scored a 91.
