Girls Wrestling Has A Great Day Of Duals On Saturday

The Sullivan Lady Eagles girls wrestling team traveled to Marshfield on Saturday. Sullivan faced five schools and started the day with two losses from Marshfield and West Plains. The Lady Eagles defeated Mexico next and took a loss to Branson. Sullivan finished out the day with a defeat by Mountain Home, Arkansas. The ladies fought hard and are in positive spirits for the remainder of the season.

Marshfield

Marshfield won the dual, 42-24.

Marshfield won the first three matches, unopposed.

Karen Dietzler was pinned by Maci James for the 125 class at 2:19.

For the 130 class, Jade Studdard pinned Avery Clinton at 1:35.

Sadie Altimus was pinned by Ariaha Mcillwain at 1:16 for 135.

Camryn Elliott of Marshfield was unopposed for 140.

Dorie Richardson pinned Kylie Green-Beck at 1:43 for 145.

For 170, Ruby Daily was pinned by Isabella Whtlock at one minute.

Reya Bristow was unopposed for the 235 class.

There were three extra matches.

Katie Summers represented 155 and was pinned by Emory Lundquist at 4:53.

Hannah Sumner also represented 155 and she pinned Elizabeth Skidmore at 1:35.

For 170, Kloie Parks was pinned by Aniyah Peterson at 3:02.

West Plains

West Plains won the dual, 36-25.

West Plains won the first three matches, unopposed.

For 125, Dietzler was pinned by Arianna Richardson at 3:33.

Studdard was unopposed for 130.

Sadie Altimus was pinned by Nikeshia Davis at 27 seconds for 135.

For 145, Richardson won unopposed.

For 155, Maria Schatzl pinned Kyra Roberson forty seconds.

Zoey Foster pinned Daily at 1:44 for 170.

Kenzy Mattingly pinned Kayci Allcorn at 3:03 for the 235 class.

Mexico

Sullivan walked away with the victory, 42-30.

Mexico won the first four matches, unopposed.

Dietzler pinned Kiya Smith at forty three second for the 125 class.

For 130, Studdard pinned Abby Bowen at 1:27

Altimus pinned Carly Stuart at 1:28 for 135.

Richardson, Schatzl, and Daily were all unopposed.

For 190, Taylor Parker was unopposed.

Reya Bristow finished out the day with a pin over Alexus Johns at 1:39 for 235.

Branson

Branon won the dual by six points, 36-30.

Branson won the first three matches, unopposed.

Dietzler pinned Cameryn Warner at 1:48 for 125.

For 130, Studdard pinned Lucia Rosales at fifty six seconds.

Altimus was pinned by Sarah King at forty three seconds for 135.

Hali White for 140 was unopposed.

Richardson and Schatzl were both unopposed.

For 170, Daily was pinned by Savannah Cisco at 4:50.

Reya Bristow was unopposed for 235.

Mountain Home, Arkansas

Mountain Home was victorious in the dual, 48-30.

Mountain Home won the first four matches, unopposed.

Dietzler won unopposed for 125.

Studdard pinned Brianna Balsano at a stupendous nineteen seconds for 130.

Altimus was pinned by Olivia McCoy at forty four seconds for 135.

For 140, Leigha Gatewood was unopposed.

Richardson pinned Lashay Moffitt at a stellar forty seconds.

For 155, Sumner was pinned at 1:12 by Amelia Frounfelter.

Schatzl pinned Katie Lowe at 1:30 for 170.

Allison Eubanks was unopposed for 190.

For 235, Bristow finished at Marshfield with a victory unopposed.
