Girls Soccer Fall In Two Road Games
Sullivan’s girls soccer Eagles played two road games against St. Clair and Festus last week, coming up short in both contests.
St. Clair
The Lady Eagles fell 3-1.
St Clair took the early lead when they scored two goals in the first half.
Sullivan cut the deficit in half, but the Lady Bulldogs retuned fire with another goal to secure the win.
Jada Adams was the lone scorer for Sullivan.
Maria Schatzl saved the ball eight times but let three goals go by.
Festus
The Lady Eagles fell to Festus the next day, 2-0. Sullivan tried to use the loss from the previous day as motivation but came up short.
Sullivan had just two shots on net.
Schatzl played all 80 minutes as the goal keeper for Sullivan. She allowed two goals and saved the ball three times.
