Girls Soccer Faces Tough Teams At First Tourney

The Lady Eagles (0-3) faced adversity at their first tournament of the year. They first took on Class 4 Northwest (Cedar Hill), then the host Lutheran (St. Charles).

Northwest 8, Sullivan 2

Sullivan started with an 8-2 loss to the Lady Lions on Monday, Mar. 24.

Ava Hayes racked up two scores for the Lady Eagles. She also fired three shots on goal. 

Jada Adams made an assist and an attempt at the net.

Tessa Newman also dished out an assist.

Chloe Carson started her second career game as a goalie. She clutched four saves against Northwest.

Lutheran 5, Sullivan 0

Sullivan fell behind early in their final match of the tournament. They struggled to catch up to the Lady Cougars, who clawed out all five of their goals before halftime.

Carson recorded a save as the first half goalkeeper, while Molly Pilkenton guarded the net in the second.

Adams and Eden Lambert each logged a shot for the Lady Eagles.
