Girls Golf Swings Into Week Five
The Lady Eagles golf team (2-4) wrapped up a busy week at the Franklin County Cup and a clash with Washington. Izzy Peterson led the team in both competitions.
Franklin County Cup
Sullivan teed off at the Franklin County Cup on Monday, Sept. 30.
Peterson carded a team-low of 115 points.
Lille Craig swung a 130, Aleeyah Sanders hit a 133 and Kennedy Kloos tallied 147.
Washington won the tournament with a score of 368. Borgia (433) was the runner-up, Union (446) followed in third, St. Clair (478) finished fourth and Pacific (558) rounded out the rankings. Sullivan did not place because it had four golfers.

Sullivan faced off against the Lady Blue Jays (10-0) at the Wolf Hollow Golf Club on Wednesday, Oct. 2. Sullivan had three varsity golfers take the course and fell 179-258.
Peterson and Maggie Zweifel tied with 58 points for seventh place individually.
Alyssa Beers carded a 70 and finished in twelfth.
