Eagles Soccer Fires Up All-Conference Awards
Sullivan had twelve soccer players who earned all-conference honors for leaving everything on the field in 2024.
Luke Herron was a first-team all-conference awardee for Sullivan. The sophomore led the Eagles with 12 goals and 61 shots. The midfielder/forward also assisted eight scores.
Carsen Dudley and Josiah Tanner both received first-team honors as junior midfielders. Dudley contributed 38 shots, five goals and a team-high 13 assists. Then J. Tanner tallied 34 shots, 10 assists and six goals.
Goalkeeper Alex Toews appeared in 19 games and was named to the second-team all-conference. The junior kept 183 shots out of the net with a 0.772 saving percentage.
Kaden Smith capped off his high school career with second-team honors. The senior forward fired in 22 shots, eight goals and two assists.
Ben Tanner earned a second-team spot as a freshman. The midfielder racked up 20 shots, four goals and two assists.
Defenders Russell Politte and Logan Schlueter were second-team awardees in their senior seasons. Politte delivered five shots and an assist, while Schlueter launched three shots.
Nine Eagles received academic all-conference honors for giving their all in the classroom and the game. The awardees were Trenton Ahrens, Herron, Aiden Lawrence, Mason Mertz, Logan Podner, Smith, J. Tanner, B. Tanner and Toews.
