Boys Wrestling Clinches Top Of Podium In Blair Oaks
Boys wrestling secured their fourth season championship title at the 1st annual Blair Oaks Duals on Saturday, Feb. 3.
Sullivan came up short in their first round against Savannah with a 40-36 loss. They rebounded in their remaining four duals, shutting down Blair Oaks 34-30, Kirksville 46-32, Centralia 40-33 and Fatima 54-24.
Connor Roach (132) and Adam Peregoy (150) were both undefeated on the mat.
Camden Henderson (113) and Colton Brendel (165) both went 4-1 in their classes.
Dayton Skaggs went 3-1 for the 190 class, with all his victories forfeited by his opponents.
Carter Blankenship (120) and Nolan Center (285) held a 3-2 record in their classes.
Oliver Borton (126), Draysen Nolie (138), Dominic Ransom (144), Austin Ray (157) and Kane Strehl (175) all emerged victorious in two of their five rounds.
Christian Hulsey (190) and Jacob Patton (215) competed in one match for the day and lost during the Centralia round.
Jeremiah Rodriguez (215) went 1-3 on Saturday.
