Boys Soccer Fights To The Final Whistle
The Eagles (9-16) marked the end of their season in the Class 2 District 2 Quarterfinal on Saturday, Nov. 2. They fell 6-1 to a tough Priory squad (11-12) in Clayton.

Sullivan gave it their all in every match this season, fighting until the final whistle blew. Head coach Brian Immekus’s last message for the Eagles is “two words: dedication and commitment.” He explained, “When we begin a new season next summer, the players have to arrive ready to be dedicated and committed to each other and the team. If we want to take the next step, that’s what it’s going to take.”
Before facing Priory, Sullivan started their final week of the season by routing Festus on the road and battling Warrenton at home.
Festus
The Eagles delivered a five-run shutout over the Tigers (5-16) on Tuesday, Oct. 29. By burying Festus, the Eagles had one more victory over their win total in 2023.

Tanner put on a clinic with two assists, a goal and four shots.
Herron tore up the field with two assists, a score and three shots.

Warrenton
The boys soccer team dropped their final regular-season game to Warrenton (13-10) on Wednesday, Oct. 30. The Eagles fell 4-0 to the Warriors before heading on the road for districts.
