Boys Basketball Aims For Third Straight District Championship

Head coach Dino McKinney will once again lead the varsity Eagles boys’ basketball team, aiming for a third consecutive District Championship in Class 4 District 3 after finishing with a 16-12 record the previous year.

This team, eyeing for another deep postseason run, consists of seniors Koch, Ian Tutterrow, Max Avery and Matthew Mallory. They will step into leadership roles on the court to fill the void left by graduated players: Gabe Dace, Gavin Dace, Aiden Kirk and Sam Summers.

The boys’ basketball season opened on Monday, Nov. 27th, at home against Capital City at the FCNB Bank-It Championship. The home tournament will last until Friday, Dec 1st. Stats were not available at press time.
