William D. ‘Don’ Crow

William D. “Don” Crow, 67, of Sullivan, Missouri, passed away on June 8, 2023, in Rolla, Missouri surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 11, 1955, in Richwood, West Virginia.Don was the son of the late William “Bill” Crow and Audrey Skipper.

Don grew up in Sullivan, MO, where he attended school and met his childhood sweetheart, Jeanne Studdard. The couple built a lifelong relationship, beginning in grade school. While serving in the United States Army for three years, Don married the love of his life, Jeanne, on January 16, 1976. Together, they raised a beautiful family, which included twin sons, Travis and Bradley.

In 1980, Don began a 15-year career as an order processor for Paramount Apparel in Bourbon, Missouri. He later transitioned to Esselte (now R.R. Donnelly), where he worked until his retirement in 2012. Don spent his early retirement years taking special care of his mother, Audrey, in her later years.

An avid fisherman, Don especially enjoyed bass fishing and shared his love for the sport with his family. He also loved hunting and, in their retirement years, he and Jeanne enjoyed trout fishing, camping, and hunting morel mushrooms together. Don's down-to-earth nature made him a beloved figure in his community, always willing to stick up for the "little guy" and looking out for the underdog. He was known to be honest, trustworthy, and kind.

Don's selfless and analytical nature guided him throughout his life, leaving a lasting impact on those who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Don was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, survived by his wife, Jeanne; twin sons, Travis Crow and wife, Katie of Columbiana, Ohio and Bradley Crow of Sullivan, MO; three beloved granddaughters, Madison Schaal and husband, Brendon of Boardman, OH, Abby Crow and Kaylee Crow both of Columbiana, OH; a precious great-granddaughter, Riley; and numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Crow and Audrey Skipper; and a step-brother, Billy K. Terry.

No services will be held at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Eaton Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Sullivan, MO.
